Christopher A. Carlson, MDChristopher Carlson has been a canoe guide in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, a research assistant at Mayo Clinic and a volunteer physician in Madagascar.A graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical school, he did his undergraduate work at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He completed a family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in the North Memorial Family Residency program. He is board certified in family medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Medical Association and American Medical Association. Dr. Carlson has a special interest in international medicine. In his spare time he enjoys catching frogs and turtles with his son, cross-country skiing, playing the guitar, reading and photography. |

Javaid Saleem, MDJavaid Saleem received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. The office procedures he performs include flexible sigmoidoscopies, setting of fractures, vasectomies and treatment of skin lesions. |

Michael B. Stiegler, MDMichael Stiegler received his B.A. in chemistry from St. Olaf College in 1978 and went on to study jazz at Berklee College of Music in 1979. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1983 and completed his residency through the University's North Memorial Residency Program in 1986 serving as Chief Resident in his last year. He was Chief of Staff at North Memorial in 1997.He is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a former marathoner who still loves to run but now spends too much time mountain and road biking and Nordic skiing. He volunteers as the director of Jazz Studies at Plymouth Middle School where he has lead the jazz bands there since 1990. He still plays his sax when anyone cares to listen. |
