We offer a full range of primary care for all age groups, in a place that is convenient for you - right in your neighborhood. Camden Physicians has offices in Plymouth, Maple Grove and Minneapolis.

Our approach to your care

As your primary care clinic, and as part of the family of North Memorial Clinics, we work with you to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from our services and other resources at North Memorial. Our clinic is your connection to a highly trained physician who can monitor your health with appropriate screenings and routine exams, as well as provide chronic care management and treatment of minor injuries, cold and flu.

Camden Physicians accepts most major health care insurance plans, and we will file your insurance claims for you. Just bring your insurance card each time you visit.

Our Providers

 

Christopher A. Carlson, MD

Christopher Carlson has been a canoe guide in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, a research assistant at Mayo Clinic and a volunteer physician in Madagascar.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical school, he did his undergraduate work at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He completed a family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in the North Memorial Family Residency program.
He is board certified in family medicine.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Medical Association and American Medical Association.
Dr. Carlson has a special interest in international medicine.
In his spare time he enjoys catching frogs and turtles with his son, cross-country skiing, playing the guitar, reading and photography.
 

Pamela G. Dumke, MD

Pamela Dumke received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota.
She completed her residency through the St. Paul-Ramsey Hospital, Family Medicine Program.
She is a Clinical Assistant Professor, at the University of Minnesota Department of Family Medicine.
She is board certified in family medicine.
Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Hennepin Medical Society, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians and Minnesota Medical Association.
Women's health and medical education are her special clinical interests.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and travel.
 

Ricard Gebhart, MD

Richard Gebhart is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.
He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota - Methodist Hospital Affiliated Program in Family Medicine and Community Health.
He is board certified in family medicine and is a diplomate of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
His professional affiliations include Alpha Omega Alpha, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Hennepin Medical Society, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians, and Minnesota Medical Association.
His special clinical interests are preventive health care, chronic disease care and quality health care.
He enjoys fishing, horses, sports and genealogy
 

Gay W. Lentfer, PA-C

Gay Lentfer is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She completed the physician assistant program at the University of Iowa.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants.
 

Jennifer S. Oberstar, MD

Jennifer Oberstar received her medical degree from Saba University, Saba, Netherlands Antilles.
She completed her residency at the Hennepin County Medical Center.
In addition, she completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Her certifications include family medicine and sports medicine CAQ.
Her memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (committee member), Hennepin County Medical Society, Minnesota Medical Association, Minnesota Sports Medicine and National Ski Patrol.
Her special clinical interest is in the prevention and diagnosis of sports and exercise-related injuries.
She enjoys biking and skiing.
 

Javaid Saleem, MD

Javaid Saleem received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his residency at the Mercy Health Partners Family Practice Residency Program in Toledo, Ohio.
His professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians - where he is a Fellow - and Minnesota Medical Association.
He is board certified in family medicine. His special interests include acute and chronic disease management, preventive care, women's health, addiction, obstetrics and pediatrics - including newborn and adolescent care. He is also experienced in sports medicine and has served as team physician for Osseo High School. He is credentialed at both North Memorial Medical Center and Maple Grove Hospital.
The office procedures he performs include flexible sigmoidoscopies, setting of fractures, vasectomies and treatment of skin lesions.
 

Michael B. Stiegler, MD

Michael Stiegler received his B.A. in chemistry from St. Olaf College in 1978 and went on to study jazz at Berklee College of Music in 1979. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1983 and completed his residency through the University's North Memorial Residency Program in 1986 serving as Chief Resident in his last year. He was Chief of Staff at North Memorial in 1997.
He is board certified in family medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a former marathoner who still loves to run but now spends too much time mountain and road biking and Nordic skiing. He volunteers as the director of Jazz Studies at Plymouth Middle School where he has lead the jazz bands there since 1990. He still plays his sax when anyone cares to listen.
