Welcome

From our entire staff, welcome to North Memorial Clinic - Minnetonka Physicians. Although we are in a beautiful new location near Ridgedale Shopping Mall, we have been serving the Minnetonka community for many years. During that time, we've seen your lives become busier and more complex. So we have made every effort to offer complete medical care for you, and to do so at times that are convenient for you. That's why you will see us open late one evening per week. It's also why we've installed an electronic medical record system, a tool that helps us customize a preventive care schedule for you. With this system, we can help remind you when it's time for your physical or your child's next immunization. These are just a few ways we've changed how we approach caring for you as your life has changed.

Osteoporosis Services

North Memorial’s Minnetonka Clinic has a state-of-the-art screening device for the diagnosis of osteoporosis – the DEXA scan, or dual energy x-ray absorpitometry. The DEXA scan measures the density of the bones of the spine, hip and wrist – the areas most often affected by osteoporosis. It is also used to accurately follow gradual changes in the bones.

Minnetonka Physicians takes appointments for the DEXA scan with a referral from a primary care physician. If you have questions about bone density, or if you have a family history of osteoporosis and think you may benefit from a DEXA scan, talk to your primary care physician. Your physician can discuss the procedure with you and determine if this screening is appropriate for you.
