MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY/CULTURE STATEMENTS
In 1991, our physicians and staff developed a mission and related philosophy and culture statements. These combined statements describe who we are and what we are about.
Mission Statement
The mission of the physicians and staff of Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd., North Memorial Women's Heart Clinic, and Minnesota Mobile Medicine is to provide the highest quality services to our patients and their physicians. We provide timely services with expert knowledge and skills, sensitivity and compassion. Working together with referring physicians, we are committed to optimizing the health and well-being of our patients.
Patients
Our primary concern is to treat patients with expert medical knowledge and skill. We respect the dignity of our patients and their families. We serve them in a timely, responsive, and compassionate manner. We demonstrate our concern by listening to them, answering their questions, and providing individualized medical care.
Referring Physicians
As specialists in cardiovascular medicine, we value and work towards mutually respectful, cooperative, and effective relationships with referring physicians. We support their role as the patient's primary physician. Through timely communication, we seek their involvement in treatment planning and patient progress.
Hospitals
Our primary hospital is North Memorial Medical Center, in which we work to provide the highest quality care in state-of-the-art facilities. Through our outreach program, we consult at hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin and provide tertiary care services at North Memorial Medical Center.
Medical Community
We work cooperatively within the medical profession and the larger medical community. We belong to various medical organizations related to cardiovascular diseases. We join the larger medical community to study health issues and influence public health policy for the benefit of our patients.
Medical Research
We participate in carefully selected research studies for the benefit of our current and future patients. By participating in clinical research, we make advances in medical treatment more readily available to our patients. In this endeavor, the health and safety of our patients remain our primary concern.
Third Party Payors
When appropriate, we advocate for our patients to help assure that they receive benefits to which they are entitled. The treatment and care of our patients are our primary concern.
Community
We are committed to being a good neighbor and a responsible citizen within the communities we serve.
Physicians and Staff
Our physicians and staff are our most valuable resource. We are committed to their safety and well-being. We believe each physician and staff member:

- understands the purpose of his/her work,
- makes an important contribution to the mission of the practice,
- is motivated to achieve his/her potential and is willing to work hard to realize it,
