In September of 2004, the North Memorial Women's Heart Clinic opened its doors.  The clinic was created and is staffed by female physicians who are part of Cardiovascular Consultants. North Memorial Women's Heart Clinic brings a new approach to cardiac care led by a unique team of female caregivers in an environment designed specifically for women. The clinic provides women with a trusted and welcoming cardiovascular resource for prevention, disease management and coordination of treatment.

A unique heart risk screening and assessment program exclusively for women has been created with MyHeart Book. It helps women determine and manage heart disease risk based on a one-hour clinical screening and face-to-face interview with a staff member. Patients receive a personalized MyHeart Book with chapters clearly explaining heart risk assessment and a map to better health, including diet and exercise recommendations, educational resources, and more.

The North Memorial Women's Heart Clinic also provides other services, such as consultations with a female cardiologist, stress testing, echocardiography, vascular screening tests, lipid management, device clinic, and more.
