Tracking Cases

What to Do When You Get Sick

The current recommendation for health care workers with direct patient care contact or proximity to patients is to stay home until you are without a fever for 24 hours without the use of medications, or 7 days from the onset of symptoms, whichever is longer.

When you return to work after an influenza-like illness, please complete a Report of Illness, available in the Employee Health Center or on the intranet under "Employee Information," then "Human Resources Forms." This helps us in our planning efforts to adjust staffing schedules.
