Anterior Hip Replacement

For patients who qualify, there is a less invasive total hip replacement. It's called anterior hip replacement - a technique that minimizes the pain and time it takes to recover after surgery.

The anterior approach to hip replacement surgery allows a surgeon to reach the hip joint in such a way that the most important muscles for hip function are left undisturbed and, therefore, do not require a healing process to recover from surgical trauma.
