North Memorial Lifeline

What is Lifeline?
Lifeline is a simple-to-use personal response system, linking customers to 24-hour emergency assistance at the push of a button. It allows you to move freely around your home or yard with the confidence of knowing that if you need help, Lifeline is there.

Lifeline is used by people who are alone at home at all times or just part of the day. Individuals with chronic health problems; elderly and disabled persons; post-operative patients and those at risk of falling can benefit from the peace of mind Lifeline service provides.

Simple to use
When you need help, just press the waterproof personal help button, which is worn as either a pendant, a wristband or now as part of a Timex product called the Tempo Watch. Within seconds, a caring, fully trained personal response associate responds and summons the appropriate help. There are also custom units activated by the turn of a head or sipping through a straw.

Make a Difference

Volunteer
Lifeline installers set up Lifeline units in subscribers' homes and demonstrate how to use them. Installers also make service calls to ensure that equipment is working and available when clients need it. We are always looking for additional volunteers, including office volunteers who help with data entry, filing and more.

Donate
Some adults who could benefit from Lifeline cannot afford the monthly subscription fee and unfortunately don't qualify for county services. North Memorial Lifeline provides subsidies for these individuals, and we rely on help from donors to support that effort. Lifeline contributions can be made through North Memorial's Foundation.
