Holly Taynton, DO

Holly Taynton is a family medicine physician whose clinical interests include osteopathic manipulation, pediatrics, prenatal care, preventive medicine, and women's health. She received her BFA in Dance from The Ohio State University. After college she danced professionally in New York City for five years, while owning and operating a Pilates exercise studio. She then received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and returned to her hometown of Robbinsdale to complete a family medicine residency through North Memorial.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, outdoor activities of almost any kind, reading, photography, travel, Pilates and yoga (and of course dancing).
 

Kristen Helvig, MD

Kristen Helvig is a family medicine physician with clinical interests in nutrition, preventive medicine, obstetrics and education.
She has undergraduate degrees in English Writing and German from Concordia College in Moorhead.
She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and did her residency through the North Memorial family medicine residency program.
She is board certified in family medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys biking, running, camping, hiking, travel, cooking and spending time with her husband.
 

Michael Broton, MD

Michael Broton is a family medicine physician with clinical interests that include preventive care, adolescent care, asthma management and sports medicine.
He received his B.S. in biology with a biomedical emphasis from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
He completed medical school at the University of Minnesota before completing his residency in family medicine through North Memorial. In addition, he completed a fellowship in sports medicine through Hennepin County Medical Center.
He is board certified in family medicine with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine.
His hobbies include running, orienteering, cross-country skiing, canoeing, cooking and listening to jazz.
 

William L. Youmans, MD

William Youmans received his medical degree from Michigan State University.
He completed his residency in the University of Minnesota Family Medicine Residency Program.
He is board certified in family medicine.
His memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, Hennepin Medical Society, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians and Minnesota Medical Association.
His clinical specialties are cardiology and stress tests.
Other interests include aviation and wilderness travel.
 

Mark Zelent, DPM

Mark Zelent, DPM specializes in diseases and disorders of the foot and ankle. He completed his education at the University of Illinois. Dr. Zelent did an internship at the Veteran's Medical Center in Minneapolis and his residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, where he served as chief resident. He also had the opportunity to complete Orthopedic Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship experiences at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Washington and at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics.
Dr. Zelent is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also board certified by the American Board of Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine for non-surgical management.
Dr. Zelent has been an author of numerous publications and currently serves as a manuscript reviewer for several medical journals. He enjoys spending time with family and his hobbies include cooking and baking. He also participates as a recipe reviewer for a prominent culinary publication.
