Volunteers are the heart of the SafeJourney program. They provide hospital advocacy to victims of domestic abuse, facilitate support groups, speak to audiences about domestic violence, and help with fundraising events. Volunteer advocates receive specialized training and ongoing support before working with domestic abuse victims.
