Drowsy Driving

Drowsy driving jeopardizes your job, your life, your family and other drivers. The National Transportation Safety Board has recommended that commercial drivers and pilots be screened for sleep apnea due to its role in a wide range of transportation accidents.

Drowsy driving is considered equivalent to drinking and driving. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration cites drowsiness as the cause in 10,000 police-reported crashes annually, involving 76,000 injuries and 1,500 deaths.
