How to Schedule a Sleep Study

Sleep disorders are at epidemic levels, and that affects ALL of us, even those who do not have a sleep disorder. More than 70 million Americans suffer from sleep problems, and there are over 80 recognized sleep disorders. Sleep disorders leave many people exhausted and unable to function.

The proper treatment for a sleep disorder can be a life-changing event, but it takes trained, specialized help. Professionals at our full service centers evaluate, monitor and diagnose patients who may be suffering from sleep disorders.

One of the primary services we offer is called a sleep study - a test that records information about your sleep. It identifies sleep events like snoring, movement, heart rate and general sleep behavior. The information is recorded and monitored by specially trained technologists who provide the findings to the sleep specialists.

To schedule a sleep study, we recommend that you consult with your primary care professional to obtain a referral. Your doctor will work with a physician at the Sleep Health Center to determine if a sleep study is necessary. Referring physicians may call either location for more information. Your health care professional will receive a full report.
